FAQ
What is IV nutritional therapy?
IV nutritional therapy delivers hydrating fluids and essential nutrients to your body via your veins quickly and efficiently. Because this method bypasses the gastrointestinal system, it results in 100% absorption of the nutrients into the bloodstream.
What is in an IV treatment?
The IV bag contains essential fluids, electrolytes, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants; exactly which ones depends on your personalized treatment.
Who decides what goes into the IV bag?
You’ll speak with our Medical Director or Nurse Practitioner. You’ll be asked a series of questions about your health and objectives. Then together you’ll decide on the best course of treatment.

Does IV therapy hurt?
It takes just a few seconds for our skilled nurse to insert the IV. On special request, we use a small needle as well as medicine that numbs the area, so it is virtually painless. Most people who’ve had IV therapy will tell you the anticipation was worse than the actual “stick” and well worth it for the benefits of the therapy.

The nurse will remove it from your arm (don’t worry; it’s painless) and place a small dressing of gauze and Coban self-adhesive wrap on the area. The wrap will apply slight pressure to the injection site to prevent any bleeding or bruising. We recommend you keep the dressing on for about 45-60 minutes.
